There are public buses and shared public shuttles operated by various companies, we do not organize or recommend any particular public service.

Our drivers will bring you safely and comfortably to Panajachel where our private boat will be waiting to take you directly to the lodge just 10 minutes away.

Panajachel to Laguna Lodge is 10 minutes by our private boat which is complimentary on arrival/departure between the hours of  7am and 6pm.

Conveniently located near Panajachel, public water taxis will stop at our dock regularly throughout the day to take you to Panajachel and  other destinations around the lake. They come past approximately every hour from 7am until 6pm and will stop when they see you waving.

If arriving independently to Laguna Lodge go to Tzanjuyu dock in the lakeside town of Panajachel. Water taxis leave regularly for Santa Cruz La Laguna and pass Laguna Lodge on the way.  The boat will stop at our private dock when asked.  ($3-6) each way.

Private boats can be arranged to and from Laguna Lodge up until 9.30pm for a fee of $33 1-2 persons/ extra persons $5.

A Helicopter from Guatemala City to Laguna Lodge (1-2pax/30 mins) is approximately $2,050.00 one way.

Guatemala uses the Quetzal. Exchange for US$1 is approximately 7.5 to 8 Quetzales.

We accept Quetzales, USD, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners and PayPal. Panajachel has ATM/ABM machines to withdraw Quetzales.

Guatemala is known as the land of eternal spring due to its temperate climate. The highlands reach temperatures of 86°F or 30°C. The summer months of May to October are the green season with regular afternoon or night showers. Winter has similar temperatures and is dry with night temperatures of around 61°F or 16°C.

All bookings are non-refundable. The value paid can be applied as a credit to a future booking within 1 year of original reservation if we are notified more than 30 days* before original date of arrival (*60 days for high season) If canceled more than 30 days before original date of arrival, a fixed amount of 25% of the reservation will be charged (60 days for high season). If modified between 15 to 30 days* before arrival a fixed amount of 50% of the total reservation will be charged (*60 days for high season). If modified between arrival day to 14 days before arrival a fixed amount of 100% of the total reservation will be charged. A subsequent date change will incur a $100 change fee. If canceled between 1 day and 30 days* (*60 days for high season) and in case of no-show the 100% of the reservation will be charged.
